2019 Funny Car Fever & Nostalgia Reunion at Sacramento Raceway Park April 6 & 7

Funny Car Fever’s Nostalgia Reunion is part of NHRA’s Hot Rod Heritage Series. Racers are competing for $30,000 cash, NHRA Coveted Wallys and Heritage Series Points. Discounted tickets can be purchased online for a limited time.

The California Independent Funny Car Association is kicking of their season opener April 6 & 7 at the Funny Car Fever. Tony Trimp defeated James Maher in the final last year by .003 of a second. Maher is looking to defend his 2018 CIFCA Championship in his 1984 Ford Tempo known as Jr Vibes. Johnny Kirschenman who won rookie of the year in 2018 is ready. Jim Currie is ready to run the full season this year. Harvey Williams and the Happy Hour Team will have a new body with Tony Trimp at the wheel. Pete Ortiz Jr is ready and happy about the new 5.90 index. Mike Troxel says he will be there. Shaun Bryan is excited and plans to be there as well. Ken Breneisen is ready to rock with his 392 Hemi. Last but not least, Rick Alvarado in his mighty mouse funny car is ready and has a lot more test passes under his belt.

PHOTOGRAPHS:Only Hard Card photographers are allowed in the restricted area(beyond the red line, starting line, spectator side of drag strip, push road) If your crew member is found taking photographs in this area they will be asked to leave the facility. You can contact one of our track photographers to obtain photographs of your car.
